Having done data masking using Shield Platform Encryption we have protected a variety of information maintained about clients within the org, as well as attachments stored within Salesforce or search indexes. Shield Platform Encryption relies on a unique tenant secret that we control and a master secret that Salesforce maintains. Is Salesforce for real estate a good idea?

Having implemented sales and renting processes within Salesforce has saved time for the client’s representatives and provided great reporting and insights. Visibility into the pipeline enabled proper planning and quarterly target completion. Automatic commission calculation for the representatives provided them with clarity about the salary for the month they could be expecting. Due to the implementation of Opportunity splits team members were able to share the commission without the managers’ involvement.

How can I manage my suppliers?

We know how important it is to manage the relationships with your suppliers closely. Having implemented Supplier Relationship Management we’ve helped to maintain and contain important information about the suppliers, deliveries, promptness, and products. Having leveraged the supplier rating system based on assigning stars – 1 through 5, with the addition of a note outlining the reason for the score given. Having leveraged tailor-made functionalities enabling capturing information about products, their attributes, prices, capacity, storage options, and delivery options we’ve enabled very precise product maintenance. Configuration of quotes with price modification, lead times, management of ship to, sold to, mass/single/scale pricing, and management of full ordering path enabled the client to have a precise view of what was happening with their clients’ orders. Having given the possibility of easy re-ordering has increased not only sales but customer satisfaction also.

Having implemented Sales Cloud for clients from the chemical industry, we know how important it is to manage products and their information and be able to raise issues whenever there is a fault with one of the machines or reagents so the support can take appropriate and timely actions. Having built a B2B store for the dealers enabled them to easily order spare parts without having to reach out to our client directly which was an important time saver and quality of life improvement for their dealers.
